Comic #249

Yay, everyone loves nom nom, and everyone loves relient K! Relient K has always come around at a pivital point in my life. They were the first band I ever listened to, effectively set me on my course of punk rock. The first song I ever heard of theirs was "Mood rings" And I was curious as to whether they were actually a christian band or not. This was back in 2003 (I think). their album "Two lefts don't make a right but three do" Set the tone for my life at the time. Getting my first GF, generally going through teen angst. "mmhmm" kept that track going, except growing up just a tad, being a bit more serious, less jokes, but still light hearted. "Five score and seven years" that one came just in time for that first gf I mentioned to marry my best friend. I was a real sook about it and the final song "DeathBed" helped me get over myself. (Less morbid than it sounds,)
As I was finishing headspace last year I found out they had an EP out "Birds and the B-sides". "the lining is silver" was a good song to feel sad to, knowing that the crew that I lived and slept with were all about to go their seperate ways. I listened to that album all the way home, reading letters from everyone.
and now comes "Forget and not slow down" a whole new album. With a whole new set of experiences that will be had alongside it, right at the end of my first year of uni. I'm excited to see where life takes me. I guess the title of the album may be a good motto to take up, Ill forget things as soon as I throw them on the blog.

Comic #248

I would like to take this moment to rant about music lovers. I am a music lover. I think just about everyone is. Except angry old shrewds, who measure the decibels of everyones music, and squeel like a little girl when it goes one over the legal limit for a residential area.
It bugs me when people say that a bands new sound sucks. That their old stuff was way better. Now I find this comparison similiar to comparing a first year student with a masters students work, and saying that the first years was better, for no better reason than that the they saw the first year students stuff first.
In some cases very rare cases of course the students work may be better. But Bands are constantly improving their sound. Or at least they should be, unless they're lazy.
So next time You say something like "man I love greendays new album" and someone else says "Yea, but their original stuff was better." You can respond with phrases like "Your left behind in the 90's."; "Yea, because 3 chord riffs are always the superiour choice." ; "Just because you can't figure out the story line of the album" ; "Do you even know what a rock operah is faggot?"

Yea, I said faggot, fuck face.

Comic #247

I'm gonna be flipping between story lines fairly regularly, So the story gets syncs properly when The finalee arrives. So try and keep up. lol. Although Im sure you can descern characters and figure out whos who faster than I can draw them so, there we.
Road works suck. Well, they dont suck. It was a great day. Just thinking about doing it again tomorrow just isn't appealing. Especially going into the city and doing it. Im not really very good at RL tasks. Ha ha.
Check out my tunes where the shoutbox used to be! Wooo.

Comic #241

Holy shit on a stick batman, two comics in a row! I sketched this last night and didnt have anything better to do so yea, here it is, the slimy dripping fruit of my labours.

fun thought for you guys to chew on: To be human is to be in control. To give yourself over fully to instinct and emotion makes you no better than an animal.
When people tell you to stop being selfish their generally trying to make you do something for them instead.
When your twisted up in yourself and you come to realize it, do it for them, and don't complain.

Remember that you bastards.

They black box was knocked into the water. It sank with a splash.
Nick smiled and walked to them, all charm.
“Thank you for indulging my, hmm, fanaticism, shall we say.”
Ester glared at him, “I never want to see or hear from you ever again you bastard.”
“Oh I wouldn’t want to impose upon you like that again, but I’m sure that looking back on this you won’t even remember it.” He said. You could almost hear the italics in remember the way he said it.
That night Jason and Ester came home with thoughts in their mind about the romantic day that they had spent together. How naughty it had been of her to just walk out of work to go see Jason.
That night He asked her to marry him. She said yes (much to his relief, Oh and all the rehearsing in front of mirrors didn’t really pay off, He just said the first things that came to him and it came out great. Except the part about 12 kids.)
At the wedding Jason thought he saw a figure that reminded him of a devil. The person was smiling a huge grin. When Jason looked again it was only his mother in law.

comic #241

ROAR! Did I scare you? Probably not. Because you reading this, and never once do words scare you for being unexpected or in caps.
Oh yes, I made a new blog. its my geek side that I try not to let out on this blog. if your into gaming, or you just want my sarcastic take on things more regularly I suggest you check it out, www.gamerlad.blogspot.com

This comic sorta wasn’t meant to be one, that’s why its crap. It started as just a doodle of me. Probably the best comic version me I have done to date. But it suddenly connected very easily with the izak story line of izaksteve. So I decided to incorporate it.
I have been working on a cartoon for HM rage 07. Probably wont be able to finish it. So instead im dedicating it to NZ music month.
Speaking of music. The new relient k album is out. And wow…. It actually made an impact on me personally. If there was one song I was going to show everyone it would be – deathbed. 11 minutes of throat lump inducing awesomeness. I was so blown away by it. It really blessed my life. I haven’t been so serious in my blog before…. Please, listen to the song..

- keep rockin the suburbs everybody

story continued –

He opened his eyes and looked at Jason. He lowered the gun.
“Ok, fair enough.” He said. “But only on one condition. Take that box and open it outside.”
Ester had already grabbed it and slung it under one arm. She rushed past Nick and threw her arms around Jason. They embraced and spoke to each other quickly. They took the Box outside. When they put their hands near the straps to open it they could her soft sweet voices, they sounded so inviting, but so far away. As if someone on a boat across the harbour was talking and it was carrying over the water.
They opened it, and the voices got loud, harsh, and terrifying. The voices swirled around them and then as quickly as they came disappeared, the last sound being a hiss that slowly died away. It was bone chilling. Like a wild animal fighting for its life and overtaken with brutality and rage.

Comic #228

Ok, so, My mum insisted I have desert this time, and then she made me have american brownies afterwards. I'm usually to full and don't feel like pudding. Anyway. Im freakin out. Im so full of sugar I'm all shaky and stuff. Being a computer nerd its sorta hard to find hobbies to expend all this over exuberance.. Well, Other than typing really really really fast. But thats about it, hahaha*twitch twitch* I'm in a good mood.

I have officially decided that bebo kicks Myspaces stupid fat ass. Its true, I kinda like it better cause you can draw on other peoples pages. Thats a definet bonus. So go on there, add me, and I'll draw you a pretty picture with lots blood in it. yay =D

This comic is on time since I drew It a few days ago cause I'm still behind in the comics. Maybe on monday I'll add another one. Who knows.

Currently listening to: Goldfinger - Its Your Life

Hey hey. We havent updated the story in a while, So here it is, for all your oralgasmic pleasure.

Ester rested her hand on the metal door handle, she could feel the roar of engines throbbing through the handle into her hand.
As she opened the door the sound didn’t get louder. In fact it became more distant. She was puzzled. Inside was another door facing her. It seemed to be a hallway made out of blackening concrete. Nick nudged her in then followed her. He put a finger to his lips. Water trickled down the wall at one place and the whole corridor smelt damp. There was a dead end at one side and on the other was a junction with a table in the middle. The corridor was lined with doors. They walked towards the junction. Above the table was a single uncovered light bulb, buzzing every now and again. A squalid chair sat near and on top of the table was a black box or case. Ester walked to the table, she looked over at Nick. His eyes were glistening at the box.
“To easy.” He half said to himself. He dropped to the ground, just fast enough to dodge a saber slash from a door behind him.
An Indian man flipped over Nick between him and the table. Ester Stood in a corner, observing this new turn of events, was this a good guy finally come to defend her?
“I knew you would come Demon,” The Indian man snarled at
“I’m glad you rolled out the welcome mat Kal`el.” Nick smiled.
They leapt at each other.

comic #227

Woot, slowly making my way through. Another comic and I will have made up for my three weeks of tardyness.

Ok, first off, props to Matt for his mad skillz in photoshop. Fireworks just doesn't cut it I'm afraid, even if it DOES do vector art(most of the damn time).

So, celebrating SAINT Guy Fawks day. Its sorta noob this year. If there are to many fires and accidents their going to ban it. = (. Is there no way of being a man these days? Is there no dignity?
Hey that reminds me. chic "I heard that guys who wear pink shirts are secure in their masculinity." Izak "Wtf, I'm secure enough to not have to proove it." chic "Oh....".
I'm pretty sure I have said that before. Gosh, thats the annoying thing about this blog, I have so many posts I can't remember anything that I have written before, and I don't wanna keep regurgetating the same thing over and over again. Talking about that, Free txt on weekends is over, but the cool thing is vodafone released 10 dollar txt. meaning 2000 txts for 10 dollars a month. I know to most countries this would be a bit of a rip, cause australia has 2c a txt or something, but in NZ its all 20c a txt so meh.

See ya'll real soon (I hope).

Izzy.

Excuse 3. I....Put my back out. It paralized me.. :)

Excuse 4. I had a massive writers block in my thigh. It hurt, but I pulled through for all my gorgeous fans out there... And you ugly ones too.

Excuse 5. There is no excuse here.

Excuse 6. Its not humanly possible to do comics of such skillz j00, n00bz f@g 10l.

Excuse 7. I was slaving over a comic for hours then my dog ate the motherboard.

comic #221

ok, yes, for everyone who didnt know, I turned 17 yesterday. Yay me I guess, another year older another...bit wiser.
You know what kinda tickles my interest bone, people saying happy birthday. Its not that its a bad thing, its cool that people go, "hey bro, happy birthday.", and then I scare them away by saying "aww, thanks, BUT, DID, YOU, MEAN, THAT, OR, ARE, YOU, JUST, A, ROBOT, WHO, DOESNT, THINK, ABOUT, IT, CAUSE, ITS, LIKE, AN, AUTOMATIC, REACTION, WITH, YOU, PEOPLE. thanks for the toy. :)"

ok, now forget all that, I wanna tell a breif story of something thats being weighing on my mind. You can tell its EXTREMELY important by the way I spelt weighing.

To set the scene, planet earth, zoom below australia to a little strip of islands lovingly called New Zealand. Zoom into the top Island. You can see buildings now slowly becoming more detailed as you come closer, move to the left a bit... Now you see individual houses and streets. People look like little ants. Zoom in a bit more and you can see me absent mindedly carying a huge stack of papers. I have just plugged one of the blitters into a letter box, and unbeknowenst to me there is a small, usually cute looking little dog. I would normally see it coming and turn around in amusement but this time Im even more lost in my thoughts than usual.
It sinks its teath into the back of my calf mustle. I suddenly realise somethings wrong with my leg and I feel a moment of shock and fear shoot through me, I think it might have been adrenallin or some defence mechanizim. I look down and see the dog-thing. It immediately lets go and scammpers. I shout profanities to the street in general and do my best to chase after it but having chomp marks in my leg and carying a huge wad of papers doesnt aid me well. It gets away. I seeth for the rest of the round.
zoom forward two days later, It trys the same trick but this time I boot it into the ground. Zoom forward maybe a week later, its to far away and the owners are right there so i throw stones at it instead. Damn you mutt, Im gonna get you good one day, and thats the day everyone will learn you dont go biting me in the calf and get away with it easily.

(After note: This is the shortest post ever made. Not including this bit.)
